Well, hey! Look what @Twilight brought to us today. It’s 10 seconds of the Eclipse trailer we’ve been anxiously waiting for. Check it.
Okay, so if you’ve been reading my blog, you know I’m on Team Edward. So why is it that Jacob tugs at my emotions? I mean, he has all the heartbreaking lines. Really. He needs to stop so I can continue my happy swooning over Edward. No wonder Bella is so torn.
I know you’re all looking forward to Eclipse, but it’s still a few months away. I wonder what they’ll tease us with in the meantime. Stay tuned for the full trailer which is coming out tomorrow morning. Yahoo!!
This past Sunday night the movie awards season finally reached its peak at the 2010 Academy Awards. Although the Twilight Saga movies are not deemed worthy enough to be nominated, Twifans probably tuned in anyway because the show wasn’t exactly Twilight-free. One of its stars presented for the Best Actress category, another was nominated for Best Supporting Actress and the other two (awkwardly) introduced a tribute montage to horror films.
I’m not a horror film fan since I get scared way too easily. When I’m forced to watch them, in particular, the psychological thrillers, the creepy feeling remains with me for quite awhile. I don’t enjoy that tingly feeling on my back as if someone’s following me, so no, I’m definitely not a fan. It wasn’t so much of a surprise then that I saw only about 4 or 5 of all the films included in the montage. What WAS surprising was that New Moon was included in the tribute. Say what? Do YOU think New Moon was a horror film? Didn’t think so. That was a joke, right? Or maybe an effort to pretend that Taylor and Kristen belonged on that stage that night.
On the upside, the New Moon stars that attended the event all looked fabulous. This is the Oscars after all. No sneakers paired with edgy dresses here. Take a look at Kristen Stewart’s ensemble courtesy of On the Flix:

Mr. Abs, er, I mean, Taylor Lautner, of course showed up in a tux. He’s a handsome young man (but I’m still a Rob fan!).
And then we have Michael Sheen, who was there to introduce Helen Mirren during the Best Actress category. He may be creepy as Aro, but he sure cleans up well. (Photo via NewMoonMovie.Org)
Last but not least, Anna Kendrick looked lovely in her pale pink dress (see photo below via Monsters & Critics). With such strong contenders in the Supporting Actress (congrats to Mo’Nique!), it was pretty unlikely Anna would’ve taken an Oscar home for her performance in Up in the Air. She completely deserved the nomination though. I hope you all saw the movie since it was good schtuff. And seriously though, back to the dress. Although it was almost the same color as her skin, she totally rocked it.
So what did you all think of the awards show this year? Was anyone else laughing at New Moon being included in the horror montage? I mean, really, New Moon as a horror movie?
Need another reason to see Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me movie? What? You need only Rob as a reason?

Folks, Summit Entertainment (via New York Magazine) has announced that the trailer for the third movie in the Twilight series will debut during the previews for Remember Me. I suppose that’s not that much of a surprise. Nonetheless, that makes me a very excited gal. How ’bout you?

Yes, there you have it folks. Another meadow in another Twilight movie, with Edward Cullen and Bella Swan looking very cozy together. The second picture is actually quite beautiful. They look so happy in the midst of all those purty flowers. Very nice indeed.

Similar to Stephenie Meyer’s comic book, Bluewater Productions is releasing a 32-page comic book in May about Robert Pattinson. Titled “FAME: Robert Pattinson”, the comic will focus on his career starting in his pre-Twilight days, according to Radar Online.
