Last Saturday we had our own Twilght movie dvd party at my sister’s house, complete with a few decorations and of course a Twilight-inspired potluck. My personal favorite (at least in name) was “Bloody Meatloaf to Eat With Forks”. Ha.
Lucky for us there was a trivia game (may I just say I should’ve waited to answer the question for the grand prize – which was the Twilight dvd exclusive from Target – 3 discs!! I don’t have that one!).
Anyway.
Some of the other prizes included:
The Edward and Bella bookmark (I won this!)
Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight Director’s Notebook (Was a little ticked that I didn’t win this one…apparently it was the first prize given out and I wasn’t even in the room! Grr.)
An Edward poster (dagnabbit – my niece won this, but I don’t think my boyfriend would’ve appreciated me hanging this up in our house anyway)
Heck, I think there was another Twilight poster but I can’t remember which one. Obviously I didn’t win that one either.
These Twilight Sweethearts Conversation Hearts candies (my dear friend bought me the Edward one, so I was ok with not winning these)
Hmmm…I think that’s it.
It was a good time with good food (and no, it wasn’t vegetarian as you can guess from the meatloaf), good conversation and a good movie to end the night.
BUT, now that I have some time this weekend, I’m going to dive into the DVD extras. I can’t wait to hear Rob’s commentary.
