With “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” movie just eight days away, a couple of the Volturi members are making their way to Washington’s biggest mall in less than an hour. You know what’s wrong with this scenario? I won’t be there.
For starters, I had to report to my place of employment this morning and am required to stay here until the clock hits 5 p.m.. Hmmph. This means I won’t make it in time for the meet and greet that’s to take place at 4:45 p.m. at Nordstrom. That will be followed by an autograph session at 6 p.m. at Hot Topic. If I thought my chances were good in getting through the crowds, I could potentially make it for the 7 p.m Q & A session and Anya Marina performance. But no, I’m sure my chances are not great at all.
More importantly (and stupid of me), I completely dropped the ball and didn’t do my Twifan duties, which was basically buy stuff ahead of time to get tickets or a place in line. Argh. I hate it when life interferes with the good stuff.
I expect there will be some local news coverage so I’ll just keep an eye on it and live vicariously through those that were able to make it. Maybe I’ll be glad I didn’t go though, since I’m sure it will be ca-razy. And screamy. Not exactly my cup o’ tea.
