Actress Anna Kendrick plays Bella Swan’s fast-talking friend, Jessica Stanley. She is not a vampire, nor is she a werewolf. She’s simply…a human.
With that said, Anna Kendrick herself is not just a regular gal. She’s been nominated for her role as Natalie Keener in the buzz worthy movie, “Up in the Air”. With the oodles of talent this girl possesses, it should come as no surprise. When she was younger, she even appeared on the Broadway stage and was nominated for a Tony Award for her role in the musical, “High Society”. Impressive.
Here’s a little clip of her singing “Life Upon a Wicked Stage” from the musical, “Show Boat”…but not from the actual show. The ladies with her are from the musical “Caberet”.

I usually try to watch all the Oscar nominated Best Picture movies and it looks very likely I’ll have to add “Up in the Air” on my list. Hopefully Anna Kendrick will be nominated for an Oscar too. I know I haven’t seen it yet, but it’s so great to see her recognized outside of “Twilight”.
