by miss d on January 10, 2010

I am unfortunately not going at this point. My planning skills are pretty much non-existent right now and there are too many things pulling me in too many directions.

If YOU decide to go, here are some of the highlights to expect according to Creation Entertainment:

FRIDAY January 15, 2010

*Guest appearance by Peter Facinelli
*Various events and contests
*Twilight Lexicon Panel
*Concert (anyone know who’s performing?)

SATURDAY January 16, 2010

*Guest appearances by Chaske Spencer, Charlie Bewley and Daniel Cudmore
*Various events, contests, and videos
*Twilight Lexicon Panel
*Screening of the Twilight movie
*Volturi Vampire Ball featuring the Centerpiece Contest, Make-Over Winners reveal, and appearances by Charlie Bewley and Daniel Cudmore

SUNDAY January 17, 2010

*Breakfast and Charity Auction with special guests Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, and Kiowa Gordon
*Various events, contests, panels, costume contest and guest appearances by Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, and Kiowa Gordon

Maybe if this doesn’t convince you of going (or the Alex Meraz picture to the right), read these links from the Rob and Kristen Lovers site to a fan’s experience at the Miami stop.

Day 1 in Miami

Day 2 in Miami

Will you be going?

I’m not going – it’s too expensive! I’ve been roaming the internet for info on the convention, and there’s basically nothing. I live about 5-10 minutes away from the hotel they will be at, and I haven’t heard of ANY of my friends or friends of friends who will be going. Too expensive and sounds a little cheesy, to be frank. I mean, a Twilight Ball… Seriously?! Come on.

Heh heh. I agree…the Twilight Ball does sound cheesy. I think I’m more curious than anything. And yep, I don’t know anyone who’s going either. Wonder how the turnout will be…
