Rosalie Hale
WHO: Rosalie Hale, said to be the most beautiful female vampire, is another member of the Cullen family, a group of “vegetarian” vampires that feed only on animal blood and not humans. Her long, blonde, wavy hair frames her pale, delicate features, and like the other “vegetarian” vampires, she has golden eyes that darken as she grows thirsty.
VANITY FAIR: As a human, Rosalie was described as a woman with beauty, elegance, class and money. Perhaps this affected her distorted view of the world, which in her eyes, revolves around her. Okay, okay…so maybe this isn’t completely accurate. She IS vain. She IS self-centered. When it comes to friends and family though, she’s as loyal as can be.
TO BE OR NOT TO BE…HUMAN: Although Rosalie has accepted that she’s a vampire, more than anything she wishes she were still human. Being around other humans (ahem, Bella), tends to make her a bit cranky, probably because she’s envious of what humans have. She’s always wanted children of her own but as a vampire, it’s not feasible.
ALL WE NEED IS LOVE: When Carlisle found Rosalie and turned her into a vampire, his intention was for her and Edward to be together (other than saving her life). However, Edward didn’t feel that way about her and truly thought of her as family, and not a love interest. Luckily for Rosalie, she found love sooner than later with Emmett Cullen, who she and Carlisle saved from a bear attack. Since having found Emmett, they’ve been married several times and have even gone off separately from the rest of the Cullen clan to be alone together for periods at a time, always to rejoin them again.
